About CHPs
Does your congregation have an active health ministry? If you don’t know where to start, we can help. If you do have a health ministry, are you ready to take it to the next level?
Through our Congregational Health Promoter program, we provide training and support to start or strengthen your health ministry. When you take part in the classes, you’re trained to spot diseases, recommend courses of action, plan healthier meals and connect people with health resources in the area.
You’ll learn about a wide range of health issues from our staff and other health experts in the community, and there’s plenty of time for questions and dialogue. Since 1988, we’ve trained more than 600 Congregational Health Promoters to act as health leaders within their congregations.
Classes are held several times each year. For a current schedule of classes or for more information on how you can become a Congregational Health Promoter, email us at fco@ChurchHealthCenter.org.
