Faith Community Outreach

Throughout scripture, God calls people of faith to healing. Faith Community Outreach cultivates relationships with individuals and congregations to encourage, educate and equip people to build and sustain healing ministries.

In support of this, we:
Build congregational relationships and coalitions.

People of faith are instructed to care for one another. We help build healthier communities by creating opportunities for people to learn together and share ideas. From prayer shawls to workshops, we build relationships with congregations and help by supporting and encouraging their ministries.

Develop clergy health initiatives
Healthy clergy can lead healthy congregations, but recent studies have shown that many clergy members struggle with their health. By engaging them in both individual and collective programs, we help clergy address the stress and isolation that can affect their overall health and well-being. .

Provide congregational health ministry training and support.
We train individuals to establish and support health ministries in their congregations. These lay people, health professionals and clergy members share a special commitment to care for the health and wellness of their congregations and communities. More information...
