On the Move in Congregations
On the Move in Congregations is a six-week program of Scriptures, meditations and health tips designed to help groups walk together to get healthier. Participants are encouraged to walk an extra 2,000 steps daily, trim 100 calories out of their daily diets and eat three low-fat dairy servings a day. They track their daily steps and walk in the footsteps of Jesus or Abraham and Sarah. Each participant receives a meditation journal and a pedometer for only $5 plus shipping and handling for the entire order. This program was developed by the Church Health Center in conjunction with Americaon the Move in Tennessee.
